Durham, NC – On March 16, 2012, Toon & The Real Laww will celebrate the release of Toon’s anticipated Ep release at The Pinhook, located at 117 W. Main Street in Durham. Keeping the philanthropic model of business going, the release will coincide with a custom snapback baseball cap Designed by Toon and Dave Baron of SimplySea.com brand caps.
1/4 of all cap proceeds will benefit the Durham Crisis Response Center, who works with the community to end domestic and sexual violence through advocacy, education, support and prevention. Toon and his mother are both domestic abuse survivors so which is why this is the philanthropic effort connected with this release.
Toon & The Real Laww have taken a firm grip on the Triangle music scene as of late, by always giving back to their community with numerous charitable efforts and doing surprising numbers at consecutive shows with a dizzying display of tactical lyricism and humorous acrobatics. The growing buzz and widespread fanfare are evident each time the energetic team of Producer/MC’s take the stage.
Growing with the buzz created from visual projects by their video team, Saleem “Kidethnic” Reshamwala and Johnny J. Jones, it quickly became apparent that the production duo were legit, and serious about making a name for themselves among the top names in music.
