Remarks by The Real Laww in a State of the Union Address
June 14th 2012 – “Be A Laww Abiding Citizen”, The Real Laww will address his fellow DURMites to talk about what it means to be nominated for The Carolina Music Awards Male Hip Hop Artist of the Year as well as “International Laww” being nominated for Music Video of the Year!
Jay Lawrence is an active Marine who served for two and half years overseas in Iraq and Afghanistan, returning in August of 2011 to his beloved Bull City. Dedicating time to his music and production, a short 9 months after his return The Real Laww became a nominee for the CMA’s…and is currently on the lineup for this year’s Hopscotch Music Festival to take place September 6-8th in Raleigh, NC. His charitable interests include giving to the wounded warrior’s project with the “Give To Those Who Gave” campaign and concert, in addition to victims of domestic violence through “Skate Away The Hate.”

Doors at 7pm. Festivities will begin at 7:30p – 9:00p, this event is FREE to the public.
